I sit down with someone in their home, usually two or three times over the course of one or two days, to record stories from their life. I then edit these conversations, distilling them into a narrative of their life, and add musical scoring. The person I’m interviewing has a chance to listen to this and suggest revisions. I make the final audio file available via electronic transfer, or as an audio CD, and provide the full recording of the conversations on a flash drive so that it can be shared with family, friends, and future generations.
