I’ve spent my career asking people questions, and curating their stories for radio.
I worked at National Public Radio for nearly two decades, producing breaking news and memorable conversations for Morning Edition and Weekend Edition Saturday. Most recently, I was senior producer of NPR’s psychology podcast Hidden Brain. (You can listen to an episode I wrote and produced here.) I was also senior editor of Vox Media’s daily news podcast Today, Explained. As a reporter, I’ve also profiled an Olympic athlete, a world renowned musician, an award-winning food writer, a slave laborer in Nazi Germany, and a 90-year old Gulag survivor.
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in history. I now live in Washington, D.C.
